Hi! My name is Duygu Bruce. I love to read, write, search, experiment and share what I gather. After long years of studying, I worked in finance and marketing, then took on life as a clinical psychologist, coach, and lecturer in clinical psychology at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul. Presently I am working as a personal and professional development coach, and clinical psychologist for children, adolescents, and young adults. I love my job because it gives me the chance to stay in touch with the youth, with trending new ideas, and to roam in their energy. Every source that I find interesting, each new person that I meet or work with gives me a chance to explore, experience, and to know more about life and what really matters for a human being.

My goal in starting this personal blog has been to write what I gathered in life and from the works of learned men and women – in philosophy, contemporary scientific research, arts, and literature. There is no financial interest involved; the enthusiasm is in the joy of creating, writing, and in the hope of being functional and useful.

The name takes after the savants and the sages of the past and present, and a select few among them who have inspired me with their teachings, their profound knowledge of the truth, and whose lives set an example of true humanity.

What is written here is a small reflection on becoming human in our fleeting journey of life.

I hope you enjoy it!
